About Us

Q.M.B.S. was established in July 1997 by a small dedicated group of people comprising of scientists, trades people and bio-remediation researchers, with a vision for the continual development of innovative products and services in the areas of Remedial Waste Management; Renewable Energies; Waste Water Treatment Systems, Waste to Energy Systems and IT services to business and individuals.

MAJOR FOCUS AREAS.

IT Services:    Q.M.B.S. provide IT services to business and individuals in the areas of PC upgrades and repairs, network design and installation and systems administration.

Remedial Waste Technologies:      Q.M.B.S. has developed and are marketing Waste Remediation Systems for various projects including, Domestic & Commercial Drainage, Septic Tank and Grease Trap Treatments, Radiator Repairers and Waste Water RecyclingQ.M.B.S. can design and implement cost effective solutions on an individual basis to suit most industry types.

Renewable Energy Systems:           Q.M.B.S. is committed to the development & marketing of environmentally acceptable energy efficient products that are based on Renewable Energy such as Waste to Energy Conversion and Waste Reduction through Anaerobic Reactor Methodology (ABC Digestion).

Product Export Development:       Q.M.B.S. is committed to continual development of international export markets for all of its products and services. Interests have been established in the Asia / Pacific region, Europe and the Americas.

Holistic Developments:        Q.M.B.S. carries a strong advocacy for the "HOLISTIC" approach to the remediation of environmental problems in any area including manufacturing.  The holistic approach to waste remediation can assist the client in recycling waste product e.g. produce Ethanol Fuel from the waste product of one company, or Aquaculture (i.e. the breeding of fish) from the treated waste water of another company.

Recycling, Re-use and Remediation are the three "R's" that Q.M.B.S. regard as the key elements in the holistic approach to environmental problem solving.

Text Box: Our HOLISTIC approach defined:

“The whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts.”

For Example:  A company is producing putrescible waste as part of it’s processes which would normally be sent to landfill - at considerable cost.  The company is also being charged for wastewater disposal.

Under the holistic approach an Anaerobic Digester can be installed to process the putrescible waste and the wastewater.  The water can then be re-used, and the biogas produced by the digester can offset some of the natural gas and/or electricity purchased by the company.  The sludge from the digester can be sold as a fertiliser or used in the aquaculture industry.

Summary:  Using a Holistic approach, the company is saving expenditure on waste disposal and electricity/gas usage.  The company can also generate a profit from selling fertiliser and/or aquaculture products.  Society benefits from less pollution being generated, and a significant reduction of water being used by industry.
